This is a Boulder opal fox from Zuni Pueblo carver, Maxx Laate. The opal on this animal is the entire back, head and tail of the fox. Maxx carved this fox with a tiny bit of white on the tip of the foxes tail. The head of the fox is tucked under the tail of the fox. This Boulder Opal is from Australia. I bought Boulder opal pieces for Maxx to carve so that I can offer these stunning pieces on eBay. This fox has inlaid jet cabochon eyes. This fox carving is 1/2
