Vtg Alaskan Oongna Inuit Nunivak Island Mask Figural Carved Stone Wood Boat PNW

Description

Fresh from a local estate, this mask features carved green stone on a wood base. The outer carved stone looks like soapstone? There’s a carved wooden boat representation at the top.
It’s decorated with feathers but some feather have gone missing.
It measures approximately 14” tall by 13” wide at its widest. There’s a hanger in the back so it can be hung on the wall. The carvings are well done.
I don’t think this is very old. Maybe 1970’s?
