Rare Vintage Northland Trading Co. Tlingit Indian Solid Wood Totem Pole.
Features an eagle, salmon, man with copper, wolf and bear in traditional colors of red, black and turquoise.
Marked C 1801. Artist wrote the names of the animals on the back of the piece.
The wood has been hand carved and hand painted.
Made in Alaska.
Original gold sticker attached. I.J. 1987.
Weighs 9.5 ounces, weighed on a USPS scale.
Height is approximately 18.5”.
The piece is truly impressive!
Condition is Used by in very good condition. Minor marks due to vintage age. Some marks may be able to be cleaned off. Wood has no cracks or chips. Paint is missing in places, some may be part of original design.
Comes from a clean and smoke-free environment.

Note: The wooden base will be unscrewed from the totem pole for shipping purposes due to its large size. The totem pole easily screws back onto the base right into place.
