Offered here is a handsome large
FROG
fetish carving by Zuni Pueblo Indian Artisan:
Bryan Lastyone
.  This very charming frog is carved from predominantly gray Picasso Marble.  The slightly protruding white eyes are irridescent "lab" opal dots and there are several inlaid turquoise dots on the frog's back.  This is an older carving from Bryan and dates from 2011.

SIZE:
This frog measures just about 2&3/4" in length.  It is just over 1"inch high at the eyes and about 2&3/4" at the widest point.  All measurements are approximate.

CONDITION:
Like-New, Pre-owned condition.
AUTHENTICITY:
This is an authentic Native American hand-carved item and comes from the Zuni Pueblo in northern New Mexico, (USA).  The piece is signed by the artist in his beautiful script on the bottom along with "Zuni" and the year "2011"..
ATTRIBUTES:
In Zuni tradition, each animal is believed to have inherent powers or qualities that may aid the owner of a fetish carved in the image of that animal.
The Frog is a symbol of rain, abundance, and fertility.
