Offering a Hayes Leekya, Zuni, Native American carved horse fetish. Signed on the belly. This fetish is Zuni Rock with jet eyes and
turquoise
hooves.
Has original sales label. Measure approximately 3" long and 2" tall. One ear has a tiny nick on the tip. Please see photographs as they are part of the description.

Zuni Stone or Zuni Rock is travertine that is mined almost exclusively for fetish carving by the Leekya family, at Zuni Pueblo, NM. Its colors tend to be predominantly in the golden light-brown spectrum, but also may exhibit tones of gray, light beige, cream, and darker brown."
