    Description

This arrowhead is from my great grandfathers (who was Native American Micmac) collection who spent many hours back in the day collecting arrowheads between the 1920's -1960's - I did take his collection to been authenticated by Skinner in Bolton Mass. Although I did consign some pieces- I kept a lot of the arrowheads and stone tools these are some of them. This particular arrowhead was found in Georgetown Mass. It is about 2" long X 1" wide near the stem-It is chipped on one side of the stem.(as seen in picts) It really is a pretty incredible feeling to literally hold a little piece of history in the palm of your hands. Although my grandfather who collected these was Micmac- He grew up on a reservation in Canada and ended up having duel citisenship (sorry 1 key is sticking) This does not mean the arrowhead itself is of Micmac decent since the people during this time traveled allot. This was also another fascination of my grandfather's- to find arrowheads or tools that were not native to New England (but I am pretty sure this one is from New England. I have sold many arrowheads over the years on ebay without one incident-please feel free to check out my feedback on prior sales if you have any questions. Thanx for looking-hope you will stay safe + enjoy your day. All sales can be easily refunded including free return shipping if not satisfied with your purchase.Thankx for looking and hope you enjoy your day.
